Yesterday the UK Government announced that cafes, pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels can re-open on the 4th July 2020 providing operators following required measures.
Here at Adams Fast Food Supplies we want to help our valued customers get up and running as quickly and as easily as possible. Please read on at some of our top tips to get you kick started.
Step 1 – Managing Social Distancing
Under the new rules, social distancing has been relaxed to one metre plus where 2m cannot be met.
Step 2 – Restoring Consumer Confidence
The AA have launched a new COVID-19 Confidence accreditation scheme to assist restaurants in assuring customers that it’s safe to return. This scheme sets out standards that food outlets must comply with. These include:
- Staff training
- Safety measures
- Risk assessments
Displaying the accreditation on your website, in your premises and on your social media could help to restore customers’ confidence in you. Apply for COVID-19 Confidence Accreditation
Step 3 – Deep Cleaning and Hygiene
You may need to invest in a deep clean if your restaurant has been inactive for a long period of time. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) advises extra staff, food and equipment checks alongside usual checks.
